Beverly Hills, Calif. – Control Room and Live Earth have been recognized by IBC2008, an international technology trade conference, for technical innovation excellence in delivering the Live Earth concerts live online worldwide. Named the most-watched online entertainment event in history, Control Room, Live Earth and supporting vendors Rhozet and Encited Media created a system to deliver live streams and near real-time turnaround of VOD content for the largest global broadcast on record. Using over 20 channels of video server ingest, 12 channels of play out, 60 encoders and we were able to create a workflow environment to process over 80 hours of content in a 24 hour period.
