Control Room caught up with Velvet Revolver at the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. to give fans the opportunity to hear songs from the band’s sophomore album, Libertad. During their partnership, the five members brought a wealth of rock history to the band: Scott Weiland fronted Stone Temple Pilots and Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum were the heart of Guns N’ Roses, while Dave Kushner performed with Wasted Youth and Loaded. Songs performed included favorites like “Slither,” “Fall to Pieces” and “She Builds Quick Machines”.
