Control Room Recieves Five Telly Awards For John Legend: Live At The Greek Theatre At Uc Berkeley

Los Angeles, CA (June 25, 2010) – Today, Control Room, the world’s leading producer of global music events, announced the company was recognized for excellence in film and video production with five Telly Awards for its John Legend: Live at the Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley program broadcast on Comcast On-Demand and on Comcast’s online portal, Fancast XFINITY TV.

Control Room received awards in the following categories:

• Best Use of HD (Silver Award)
• Best Use of Music (Bronze Award)
• Best Lighting (Bronze Award)

John Legend: Live at the Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley
featured six-time GRAMMY award winning artist, John Legend, performing songs off “Evolver,” his latest studio album. The sold-out crowd at UC Berkeley’s Greek Theatre enjoyed special guest appearances by Estelle, Vaughn Anthony, and India.Arie all joining Legend for individual duets.

Less than 10% of entries are chosen as Winners of a Silver Telly, the highest honor. Other outstanding work is awarded a Bronze Telly.
